Our directors have over 100 years of combined experience in pension and employee benefit consultancies. Importantly, they have worked together for the last 15 years creating benefit solutions for a wide range of companies. A strong and highly motivated group, they have considerable expertise in tailoring solutions to the very many different situations encountered over the years.

  • Sally Webber ACA

    Sally qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked with a variety of clients who were regulated under the Financial Service bodies operational at the time.

    In 1995, Sally joined one of the UK’s leading Employee Benefit as their Finance Manager. During her time with them, she was Company Secretary and Compliance Officer and was appointed to the main board as Financial Director. She remained Finance Director until the end of December 2003 when she became Client Services Director.

    Sally brings considerable and varied experience to Creative Benefit Solutions and believes strongly that successful companies are founded on building excellent relationships between clients and the business.

  • Andrew McCarthy

    Andy has been in the pensions industry for nearly 30 years and has considerable experience of the wide spectrum of pensions and employee benefits including the conversion of over 30 schemes from final salary to money purchase.

    Before being instrumental in founding Creative Benefit Solutions Andy had a long career with a leading Employee Benefit Consultancy where he became a Regional Director and developed one of the most successful client development teams in the industry.

    Andy is responsible for the strategic planning process, implementation and achievement of the Company's client development plan.

  • Steve Johnstone

    Steve, a founding Director of the company, has spent his entire business career of over 20 years in the Employee Benefits industry primarily in client development and management and has the enviable ability to communicate his detailed technical knowledge in the most straightforward terms.

    He has vast experience in helping employers take advantage of the most up to date employee benefits available and in doing so has helped to establish new pension schemes using the most up to date and appropriate processes.

  • Paul Doble

    Before joining Creative Benefit Solutions, Paul worked for over 15 years in employee benefits where his career spanned administration and client management roles before joining the client development team where he rapidly became a consistently successful Senior Consultant. He has many years of experience in developing, installing and advising on company pension and employee benefit plans.

    Paul, as one of the founding directors at Creative Benefit Solutions is responsible for developing new business opportunities, and as part of his role within the highly experienced team, applies creative ideas for both new and existing clients.

  • Neil Gough

    Neil has been in the pensions industry for nearly 20 years. With a background in Pensions Administration and Client Management, Neil, as Client Service Director, is responsible for the delivery of ongoing service to Creative Benefit Solutions’ corporate clients and their employees from our team of Client Managers and Account Executives.

    Working very closely with the Sales team it is Neil’s role to ensure that all clients are embedded successfully and that they receive the expected high levels of service from all areas of Creative Benefit Solutions.

  • Doug Johnstone

    Doug Johnstone is the Company’s non-executive chairman and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the business. He has worked in the pensions and insurance industries for over 45 years and had a major executive role with a leading Life Insurance Company before transferring to pension consultancy. He developed and became the Chief Executive and Chairman of one of the larger independent pension and employee benefit consultants in the UK, before being instrumental in the formation of Creative Benefit Solutions.
